My jaw dropped when I saw how grown up Miss D looks. You haven’t been kidding about puberty hitting like a freight train. Good grief- she is looking like a teenager! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! xoxo
Phoo-d,
That Minx grew SEVEN inches in one year. Holy….
You rock! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Velva
Holy moly, I’m with Phoo-D. Miss D looks 17.
Sorry.
Really.
How have you kept your shizz together this year given those three teenagers? Really. Need to know.
I’m thankful for you, you know. Happy four day weekend.
Nap,
Thankful for you, too! I am not keeping my shizz together. Not at all. Thank God for Xanax.
Awwwww… Give ’em all a giant hug for me!
Donna,
I do believe that pic was taken after you wiped my ass OVER the floor at Pictionary?
Anteater, baby!
Dammit! Your team got “anteater” in a matter of seconds, and my team was looking at my (super-good) artwork and saying, “Dustbuster?”
Count me among those who are agape at how Miss D has grown! Even more good for her for not wanting to lose all trappings of childhood–it will be good for her in the long run. (Just keep telling her that curiosity, especially, is ageless.)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family! :)
I love you, Elizabeth (and that rascal Michael, too). Now go get preggers and make me feel better about my MommyFails. Wait. Did that sound selfish? xoxo
Wow is she looking grown up all of a sudden! Holy hormones Batman…
Love her list. Keegan is always good for an “I love you mommy” whenever he’s trying to suck up for a little something extra. Gotta give them an A for effort ;) Hope your holiday was fantastic and that the creeping crud stays away…
Heather,
You are such a gift. Thank you for the kind response…I.Am.Freaking.
I will refrain from saying that your daughter looks my age and instead point out that she looks so happy and is truly drop dead gorgeous!! Good job mama :)
Wow, they both look so grown up!
Oh and I’m with her on the ‘mysteries and sleuthing’.
Tinne,
A few years ago, I introduced her to one of my favorite books, “Harriet the Spy.” She has been sleuthing ever since.
So lovely to see the faces behind the names.
I’m just here to join in on the WHOO LAWD THAT ONE THERE comments. Gorgeous is an understatement (as is HOW THE WHAT THE WHEN THE COME ON PUBERTY, YOU ASSHOLE). I keep scrolling back up to look at this photo. The happiness is clear.
Ok, your kids are GORGEOUS! And Miss D doesn’t look 11…she looks 16!!! Wowza!
I love seeing family photos – such a pretty family! Cool to hear how they are all growing up too -and nice to see the cat! :) xxx
