I’m packing and organizing and trying to contain my excitement for my 2 1/2 days and 2 nights here.
I’m also annoying the crap out of my husband by leaving detailed lists like this:
We leave Sunday (yep–we’re flying on September 11th). A girl has to do what she’s gotta do.
In accordance with the much-publicized Talusani vacation curse, I woke at 3:30am Friday with a nasty stomach bug. Violent little shit, that bug. I was so upset and worried that I’d have to cancel our trip, but happily, I feel much better today and by Sunday, I should be tops. Unless I catch Miss M.’s cold, which she came down with last night. Ah, the joys of back to school. The beginning of germ warfare.
Mama and I wish you all the best of weekends, and the beginning of the week. All we plan to do is spa, nap, read, walk by the water, eat delicious food and laugh. You all will be close in my thoughts; in fact, I imagine you’ll be right there with me.

I believe those detailed notes *might* actually be followed! You know what’s sad? It’s my hubs who has to write those to me. Especially the homeless part. I’m pretty sure I’m the worst SAHM ever. ; )

BTW, the few times I have left the hubs alone with the kids overnight, the lists are endless. Mine are usually detailed by child and include itineraries…Just sayin’ great minds think alike…
