Tuesday Pop Quiz Answer

November 6, 2013

When did I become a duckface?

Doctor update: On meds from hell for 1 more month.

I’ll try triple doses of caffeine so I can bloody write something.

BUT…there’s some good news in all of this bitching. Some of you sweet readers found some chuckles in some of these dorky, brief posts.

Normally, it takes me eons to write posts because I’m obsessed with structure and detail and getting my words out right. I’m usually happy with the end result, but it’s exhausting.

I can’t do that right now.

Unless I totally upend my writing style. I gotta take Henry James and squish him into Hemingway form.

I’m hoping the end result will make me feel better because I’ll be writing again–without the pressure. I’m hoping you’ll swing by and play and laugh…and to find out how the Hell I’m going to muscle “Fuck You Linda, part 3” into brief form.

That’s MY November challenge. Thank you for all of the kind words and prayers and crossed fingers for me. I’m tired of moping, so will you join me in some November mischief?

Love ya’ll more than Twizzlers.

xo

All your effort always results in hella good writing but I think your drug-imposed writing challenge sounds like an excellent exercise. And doesn’t a little roughness of style seem like it would suit the subject?

More than Twizzlers? WOW! That’s a lot!

I hope the meds balance out whatever is supposed to be balanced. Going through that sucks.

Ah, geez, Witchy. We’ll listen to short or long, structured or slapdash, funny or morose.

Bring it.

Am I the worst for admitting that I’m proud that I got the right answer on the quiz – even if I know for certain that you are selling yourself entirely short? Love you girl. Be well. xo

What’s the quiz?? Writing differently – but, hopefully without stress. And differently isn’t better or worse – just different. I really do appreciate your openness; sharing your journey with us. Waiting to hear more about F*g Linda :)
